Graston Technique

Physical therapy is rough.

I went to the doctor for chronic plantar fasciitis. They did some physical therapy, a soft tissue scraping that stimulates blood to the tissue to help heal quickly. It loosened the tight muscles some but wasn’t enough to release the plantar fascia.

I ending up having a Tenex procedure which was fast, about 20 minutes, with only a local anesthetic. I wore a walking air cast for about 6 weeks and then could wear regular shoes again-as long as they have excellent arch support. I have to ice and stretch my foot daily still to make sure I don’t get overly right or inflamed again. Totally worth it.

If you have chronic plantar fasciitis I would look into it.
